Davina Boerefyn

Davina Boerefyn moved to Canada from India in 2004 when she married the love of her life, Timothy Boerefyn. As a pastor’s kid, she grew up reaching out to the socially disadvantaged and forming mission partnerships. An MBA graduate with a background in finance, broadcasting, and journalism in India, Europe, and Canada, she’s excited to watch God use her varied life experiences. Davina serves her local church as a ministry elder and deacon and, together with her husband, as a marriage mentor. She’s convinced that chocolate, coming from the cocoa plant, counts as a daily serving of vegetable.
Susan Courtney

Susan Courtney

Susan Courtney is an active, “young-at-heart” mother of three and grandmother of eight. She’s the spouse of Dr. John Courtney, who has directed Youth for Christ Winnipeg for the past forty-seven years. Susan, previously a career nurse, has passionately and creatively served the people of Riverwood Church for the past twenty-five years, and presently serves on staff as connections coordinator. The Lord has used her in inspiring many to serve in their areas of giftedness.
Arti Freeman

Arti Freeman

A native of India, Arti Freeman grew up in the Philippines and worked in Belgium and South Africa prior to moving to Canada. Arti and her husband, Aaron, have been married and living in St. Catharines, Ontario for twenty-two years. Arti works as a manager in the field of philanthropy, enjoys time with her niece, and serves in prayer ministry at her local church.
Elizabeth Haines

Elizabeth Haines

Rev. Elizabeth Haines is an author and the founder and missionary of Made Whole Ministries, Inc. Her ministry has included the founding of a home for orphans in India and speaking engagements in Eastern Europe, the USA, and Canada. She now serves internationally, from home, as a devoted intercessor and prayer warrior for other ministries.

Bobbie Howden

Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Bobbie Howden is an author, editor, ultimate “DIY-er,” and single mother of five. Bobbie started fostering in 2008. To help launch one of her foster children, she began a tea business, providing her children with the opportunity to package and sell the teas at numerous local trade shows. In 2017, Bobbie moved her family to Wolfe Island to get closer to “living off the grid.” Most recently, she is trying her hand at chicken farming. Rev. Peggy Kennedy, together with her husband, Jack, form the Two Silver Trumpets Ministries. As their name from Numbers 10 indicates, they minister to leaders and across the body of Christ in Canada and internationally. Crystal Lavallee

Crystal Lavallee is often described as one who overflows with joy! She’s the founder and national director of I Am Compelled, which uses media and theatre to communicate a message of hope to students across Canada. She also works alongside First Nation organizations multi-provincially to launch initiatives that combat suicide among youth. Crystal is the host and executive producer of Across the Land as well as host and producer of First Peoples’ Voices, TV segments highlighting the redemptive faith stories of Indigenous people on YES TV and 100 Huntley Street.

Lena Nicholson

Rev. Lena Nicholson was born in Trinidad & Tobago. She served as international outreach director for Aglow in the Caribbean and as a member of the board of directors of Aglow International. She moved to Canada with her husband, Alvin, and together they give pastoral leadership to Agape Ministries in Toronto, Ontario and apostolic leadership to Uplift International, a short-term missions movement. She is engaged in ministering to women both locally and internationally.

Jenny Ploeg

Jenny Ploeg

Dr. Jenny Ploeg is a nurse and published writer, having received various awards, including the University of Toronto Nursing Alumnus Award and an international award for a published research paper. Jenny has a special interest in supporting older adults and their caregivers. She works as a researcher/educator at a university school of nursing and has been recognized with the Canadian Association of Gerontology Student Mentorship Award. For over twenty-fi ve years, she has ministered at her local church through small group leadership and coaching, eldership, board membership, missions, and prayer ministry.

Mary Audrey Raycroft

Mary Audrey Raycroft has been on the Catch the Fire team since 1993, sharing her exhorting, mentoring, and teaching gifts in seminars, retreats, and conferences both locally and internationally. Her call is to awaken, equip, and release believers into their destiny. Some of her favourite teaching topics include Finding Your Place in the Body of Christ, The Gifts of the Spirit, Biblical Equality for Women, and The Mystery and Challenges of Marriage. She has authored numerous teaching manuals and two books, Releasers of Life: Discover the River Within, and most recently, Once Upon a Revival, an engaging synopsis of the “Toronto Blessing” that’s had global impact since 1994.

Trinity Stautland

Trinity Stautland is a young Canadian/Norwegian artist and musician from Ontario, Canada. She’s a graduate of Year One of LMI (Lakemount Ministry Internship) and is currently a student of the Florence Academy of Art in Sweden. Along with her creative endeavours, she also works in the media production industry. She hopes to touch the hearts of people around the world with her creations while spreading the message of the gospel.

Lisa Tapley is a wife, mother, pastor, and fierce lover of Jesus. She carries a heart for the local church and champions those looking to discover their God-given destiny. She pastors alongside her husband, Rev. Matt Tapley, at Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, ON where she gives leadership to the internship program and Sisterhood Women’s Ministry. Lisa speaks and teaches at various women's events throughout Canada, sharing a powerful message of hope and encouragement. Being family is a huge priority to her, and she ministers from a place of deep love for the body of Christ.

Nicole Warden was born in Quebec, and after some time in Northern Ontario, she moved to St Catharines, where she met and married Bob, her husband of forty-five years. Her career path has embodied various areas of accounting and personnel management. She has served locally and regionally in altar prayer ministry, women’s prayer initiatives, women’s ministry, and youth conferences intercessory teams. She delights in seeing the Holy Spirit bring healing and freedom to individuals through the power of prayer. Nicole presently serves on staff as prayer pastor at her local church.

Janelle Wood

Janelle Wood was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario and completed her BA studies in gerontology and sociology at McMaster University. She and her husband, Justin, have been married for twenty years and reside in Beamsville, Ontario with their four children. Janelle serves her community as part of the Parents’ Executive Council at the elementary school and is known to regularly welcome and host “large numbers” of neighbourhood kids in her rec room or yard. She’s passionate about reaching out to new, expectant, and adoptive moms as she leads the Elizabeth Ministries and serves as a ministry elder at her home church.
